The Student Services department is an administrative arm of Nile University that ensures the provision of adequate support services and social experience for students while on campus, with collaborations from both academic and other administrative units and departments of the University to guarantee good campus life and experience that stimulates and promotes personal, social, and academic excellence. The Students Services at NUN prides itself as a major contributor to the academic success of NUN’s students through the provision of top-notch support services that enable students to excel and be adequately prepared for life after graduation.

This unit under Student Services focuses and coordinates student-centered activities through the development and implementation of various programmes and events that improve the social, moral, and mental aspects of the students’ lives through the acquisition of skills, values, leadership training, and lifelong learning. The Student Affairs functions in collaboration with other departments of the university to complement the academic life of students.

The Career unit of the Student Services department is focused on providing Nile University’s students the right guidance for their career life. The unit is committed to preparing students for successful careers by providing step-by-step supervision, which entail the recognition of students’ interests, talents, and skills and mapping out practical steps to help them hone these abilities toward attaining their career goals.

The role of the Alumni unit under the auspices of the Student Services department is to facilitate the continuous engagement of Nile University’s alumni through activities and interactions that will mutually benefit all stakeholders.

The Psychology Unit is committed to providing therapeutic services which are geared towards addressing the psychological (mental and emotional), educational, social, and developmental needs of the students at Nile University of Nigeria. By providing a safe and strictly confidential environment, we provide services that address a wide range of issues such as academic challenges, social problems, emotional issues, relationship problems, family-related challenges, stress, amongst others.

The Guidance and Counselling Unit at Nile University aims to inculcate the right values in students to enable them to succeed in life. This goal is attained through organized sessions that have been carefully designed with certified counselors to impart values and discipline in students while helping with their academics and moral development.
Our goal is to assist students in their growth journey and to prepare them to become motivated and responsible individuals in society.
Our Services
The Clubs and Activities Unit in the Student Affairs department is dedicated to creating lifelong experiences for students through a series of social and charity activities and events that promote cultural awareness and social development among students, while enabling them to positively impact the community and improve their sense of responsibility, growth, and development. The activities include organized by the Clubs and Activities Unit include Nile Awards Nights, school paintings, to name a few.

Nile University offers on-campus accommodation for both male and female students. Our on-campus hostels are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to ensure student comfort. Our hostel offerings include fully functional air-conditioners, cybercafé, study rooms, common rooms, industrial kitchen, airy dining halls, etc. Each hostel room is furnished with a spacious bed and study area. All rooms also have sufficient storage space for all occupants. Students seeking to study at Nile University are welcome to choose from our various housing options.
Our Offerings
To enhance our students’ on-campus experience, the hostel management assigns in-residence supervisors to each hostel to provide the residents (students) the necessary attention and support.
Nile University is an institution that supports and promotes sports activities and events, through scholarships, athletic workshops, local and inter-state competitions. Nile University is a proud member of NPUGA (Nigeria Private University Games Association) and the current NBBF Division One Men’s League Championship of Nigeria. To facilitate our students’ active participation in sports, Nile University provides state-of-the-art facilities for sports like basketball, football, volleyball, swimming, lawn-tennis, table tennis, chess, badminton, amongst others.
