Biography

Professor Goke Francis Ibironke is a Professor in the Department of Physiology, College of Health Sciences at Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja, Nigeria. He started work at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in November 1988 as a Lecturer I in the Department of Physiology. He became a Reader in Physiology in 2017. He then moved to the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, Nigeria in 2018 as a Professor of Physiology and Dean, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences.

He teaches Neuro-Physiology and other Physiology specialties to undergraduate second- and third-year (pre-clinical) medical and Physiology students. His research interests include Neuro-Physiology and the Pathophysiology of Pain. 

He has published over forty (40) scientific articles in national and internationally referred and reputable journals.
