Nile Holds Special Outreach Programme During The Ramadan Month Of 2021

Throughout the month of Ramadan 2021, the Management of Nile University of Nigeria hosted several of its stakeholders and heads of related organizations to Ramadan Iftar (breaking of fast) at the University campus in Abuja. The Iftar dinner was organized to appreciate stakeholders while strengthening the bond of the existing mutual relationship and opening a new frontier for a better relationship in the future with the stakeholders. 

Key dignitaries and Institutions that were present at the IFTAR events of 2021 included; Prof. Abba Waziri Hassan, Chairman, Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria; Prof. M.S Haruna, Executive Vice-chairman/Chief Executive, National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI); Ahmed Bolagi Nagode, Director General National Power Training Institute; Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma, Director General, Council of Legal Education; Engr. Mrs. Aishatu Aliu Umar, Chairman, National Institution of Civil Engineers; Prof. Bakut Bakut, President, Peace and Conflict Resolution Institute; Prof. Abdullahi Mustapha, Director-General Nigerian Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA): Muhamed Tukur Arabi (Rep.), Managing Director/CEO Abuja Enterprise Agency; Norfadelizan Abdul Rahman, Managing Director TAJ bank; Representatives of Nigerian Economic Society (NES), Representatives of National University Commission NUC, Representatives of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB, Representatives of Development Bank of Nigeria DBN, a team from First Surat Group Company, a team from Nizamiye Hospital, a team from Ufuk Dialog Foundation, Representatives of Nigerian Tulip International Schools NTIC, Representatives of Near Foundation, Representatives of Nurset Educational, a team from Daily Trust.

Each event provided stakeholders the opportunity to freely suggest ways of deepening the existing relationship with relevant industries, and relevant institutions including regulatory bodies, in the nearest future. The high point of each event was the opportunity for free suggestions from the guests on ways to improve the university. At each iftar event, participants expressed their gratitude and appreciated the university for the kind gesture.
