Mr. Ezem Chizuruoke officially claimed the 100% scholarship awarded to him by Nile University of Nigeria to pursue a PGD and Master’s degree in Conflict, Peace, and Strategic Studies at the University on January 20. Mr. Chizuruoke was initially awarded the scholarship on November 8, 2019 when he was hosted by Nile University’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Osman Nuri Aras, following his victory at the 2019 Maltina Teacher of the Year competition.
Upon claiming the award, Mr. Chizuruoke reiterated his gratitude to Nile University for the “mind-blowing gesture” and pledged to use this “scholarship opportunity to bridge the conflict gaps in our society, deliver peace and value education to youths and better the ways we interact as humans.”
