Omolayo Overcomes Early Set-back to Qualify for the Quarter-finals of the Ongoing ITF Tournament

ITF World Junior Tennis Circuit Under-18 tournament— Bamidele Omolayo (a student of Nile University’s Mass Communication Department) bounced back from her first round exit in the singles and doubles categories on week 1 to qualify for the second round and quarter-finals of both categories on Week 2 of the competition. She gained qualification following hard fought victories in her Singles (6-6; 3-3) and Doubles (6-4; 7-5) matches respectively, on October 12.

Omolayo is set to play her next round of matches later today at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
