The basketball team of Nile University of Nigeria emerged the top team of the recently concluded Division/Zonal Playoffs of the Total National Division 2 Men’s League, which took place in Ilorin, Kwara State. The team achieved this tremendous feat in its maiden appearance at the competition by beating Team Nasarawa 65-41, making it three wins from four matches after their previous victories over the University of Ilorin and Stan Leopard.
As the winners of the Division/Zonal Playoffs, Nile University automatically advances to the Conference Playoffs, which will take place from November 8 to 15.
