Nile University Presents Awards to Top Performing Staff

As part of efforts to reward and motivate diligent and resourceful employees, the Nile University Employee Recognition & Rewards Award was conducted on Monday, 16th May 2022. The award was set up to recognize and reward employees who completed exceptional feats and/or employed new and innovative approaches in the execution of their tasks as evidenced by their annual performance evaluation reports.

This year’s ceremony featured 14 awardees. The award ceremony was graced by members of the Senior management team, including Mr. John Vermaaten (Pro-Chancellor/ Chief Executive Officer), Prof. Dilli Dogo (Vice-Chancellor), Mr. David Olowola (Registrar), Mr. Lateef Kareem (Chief Financial Officer), and Mr. Jonathan Okharedia (Chief People & Operations Officer).

  • Ali Sugh (Assistant Registrar/ Assistant Basketball Coach, Office of the DVC)
  • Timothy Iyendo (Senior Lecturer, Department of Architecture)
  • Ibrahim Hanif Abass (Academic Division Manager, Office of the DVC)
  • Faruk Mustapha Abdullahi (College Secretary, College of Health Sciences)
  • Stephen Tombra (Security Supervisor, Department of Real Estate & Physical Planning)
  • Innocent Gawain (Janitor, Department of Real Estate & Physical Planning)
