Nile University’s Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Gylych Jelilov, was invited as a Panelist to the 1st Abuja SME Conference and Exhibition on August 16th. The event was organized by the National Chamber Policy Center of both the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA).
During the conference— which was aimed at turning Abuja from a government to a business hub, showcasing Nigerian SMEs on their readiness for AfCTA, among other objectives— Assoc. Prof. Jelilov and his co-panelists discussed educational topics like multiple taxation and development of SMEs in Nigeria. The event featured high-profile attendees such as the Minister of State for FCT, Hajiya Ramatu Tijani Aliyu, among others.
