Nile University Engineering Lecturer Soars to New Heights, Published in Top-Rated Journals

Engr. Dr Temitayo S. OGEDENGBE of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Nile University of Nigeria has achieved a remarkable feat, publishing six high-impact articles since joining the institution in October 2022.

Two of these articles were recently published in the high-impact journal category of Taylor and Francis’,Advances in Materials and Processing Technologies”, SCI/SCOPUSindexed Q2. One of which focused on the experimental approach to biowaste nanoparticle development for radiator coolant usage and the other evaluated the Performance of African star seed (chrysophyllum albidum) oil as a cutting lubricant in milling of ASTM A36 steel.

Dr. Ogedengbe and his team also published a third article in journal category of “Cogent Engineering” in Taylor and Francis, indexed Q2 SCI/SCOPUS, which reviewed wear characteristics, wear reduction techniques and their applications to the automotive industry. Additionally, they published a lecture Notes on Engineering in Springer’s Journal indexed Q4 SCI/SCOPUS, which provides insight into the use of artificial intelligence and information communication technology towards sustainable manufacturing especially in developing economies.

Nile University of Nigeria celebrates this impressive feat and dedication to research by Dr. Ogedengbe and his team, who have published a total of six toprated articles this year, including the four current papers and two previously published in Procedia Computer (a SCOPUSindexed Q2 Journal).

Ogedengbe‘s research interests includes advanced manufacturing, materials engineering and machining, nanotechnology, and ergonomics. He has vibrant collaborations with researchers and scientists from the UK, India, South Africa and Nigeria.
