The Sports Unit (under the Student Affairs Department) of Nile University of Nigeria, recently held the second edition of the VC Cup for the University’s female basketball players. The tournament was aimed at providing students an avenue to showcase their athletic (basketball) skills and socialize. At the end of the competition, which featured six teams, The Angels emerged champions while Lady Hot Shotz and Fighting Hens finished as first and second runners-up respectively.
