Nile University Signs MoU with Abuja Enterprise Agency

Nile University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) on October 28, 2020. 

Present at the MoU signing ceremony, which took place at Nile University, was a team from the AEA headed by Arabi Muhammad Tukur FIPMA, FIGRLT, MIPMN, MNIM (Managing Director, Abuja Enterprise Agency) and Nile representatives comprising Prof. Osman Nuri Aras (Vice-Chancellor), Prof. Ibrahim Keles (Deputy Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences), Dr. Umar Abbas Ibrahim (HOD, Business Administration), Assoc. Prof. Gylych Jelilov (Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences).

Speaking at the event, Prof. Aras expressed his delight about the partnership. According to him, Nile University and the AEA have collaborated productively in various capacities over the past five years; thus, the MoU was a welcome, long overdue development as it formalized an already very fruitful relationship between both organizations. 

Responding to the Vice-Chancellor, Mr. Tukur stated that the MoU with Nile University was a significant accomplishment for the AEA as it provided the Agency with a useful and very reliable ally in its quest to improve the economy of Abuja through the development of micro, small and medium enterprises. He further expressed his hope that this partnership would contribute to the creation of jobs for youths in the FCT.

The event concluded with the official signing of the MoU by Prof. Aras (VC, Nile University) and Mr. Tukur (MD, Abuja Enterprise Agency).
