Nile University’s remaining participants at the Dala Hard Court Tennis Championship, Sylvanus Joel (singles) and John Dickson (doubles), were knocked out of the competition after losing their respective quarter-final matches. Their elimination brought to an end an impressive campaign which saw both players shrug off intense competition to finish in the top 8 of their respective categories. The men’s singles, in which Joel competed, had an initial 128 participants, while John’s (doubles) category featured 16 teams, illustrating both players’ impressive achievement.
