Nile University Delegation Pays Courtesy Visit to NABDA

A delegation from Nile University of Nigeria paid a courtesy visit to the National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA) on February 16th. The Nile team comprised Prof. Osman Nuri Aras (Vice-Chancellor), Assoc. Prof. Sani SD Mohammed (HOD, Biology, Microbiology and Biotechnology), and Mr. Yaşar Aktekin (Registrar). The host team included Prof. Abdullahi Mustapha (DG, NABDA), Dr. Rose S.M Gidado (Deputy Director), and Dr. Ibeh Bartholomew (Director and HOD, Medical Biotechnology, NABDA). 

The aim of the visit was to explore collaboration opportunities between both institutions. Among the topics discussed during the visit was the signing of an MoU in the area of research collaborations in Medical biotechnology (vaccine development) and Agricultural Biotechnology, in what was a highly productive meeting.
