The program is more structured than other business programs, covering the breadth of business-related disciplines as defined in the business core curriculum – accounting, international business law, economics, finance, management, international business, and information systems. The program culminates in a cap stone strategy course requiring students to apply their knowledge of the various aspects of business in a market simulation.

Business Administration - FAQs

JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATIONS: Use of English, Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject.

O’LEVE SUBJECT COMBINATION: In addition to UTME requirements, the applicant is expected to have obtained credit passes in five Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) subjects or its equivalent including English Language and Mathematics and any of Economics, Financial Accounting, Marketing, Commerce and Business Methods in not more than two sittings

The course will be taught in lecture and the students will be encouraged to do assignments and homework periodically (as deemed necessary) to aid learning and mastery of the course.

The breadth of options available on this degree will enable you to prepare for a wide range of career paths in business and management. You could choose to go into the financial sector or follow a career in industry, retail consultancy or the public sector.
