Biography

Dr. Onmonya Lucky is a senior lecturer at Nile University of Nigeria.

He has a Ph.D. Accounting & Finance degree from University of Jos, M.Sc Development Studies from Benue State University, M. Sc Finance from University of  Calabar, Master in Business Administration from Bayero University, Postgraduate Diploma in Development Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University (UNIFEC) Ile-Ife, specialising in Development Finance and Project Monitoring and Evaluation Management. He also has Certificate in Computer Operation, University of Port-Harcourt and B. Sc. (Hons) Accounting, Bayero University, Kano. He is also a Fellow member of Institute of Development Finance and Project Management (FDFPM); Institute of Development Administration of Nigeria (FDA);  and member of Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIM), Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (CNA); Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

His interest cut across Business Development Service Provider; Result Base Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist; Socio-economic Impact Assessment of Projects; Project Management; Feasibility Study and Business Plan preparation; Development Finance and entrepreneurship development specialist; Lecturing and Publishing. He is a  professional accountant with 25 years progressive experience. He previously served as the Executive Director, Institute of Development Finance and Project Management, (2016-2022); Business Development Service Provider, Bank of Industry; Impact Evaluation, Nigeria Building and Road Research Institute; Program Director, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Entrepreneurship Development Centre, North Central Zone (2016-2018); Technical Advisor, Monitoring and Evaluation, Africa Community Bridge Foundation (Implementing Agency, Central Bank of  Nigeria Entrepreneurship Development Centre, North Central Zone) 2013; Monitoring and evaluation specialist, CBN EDC (Motir Global) (2012); Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor, IDAN/ USAID MEMS (2006-2010), Council member, Institute of Development Administration of Nigeria; Accountant, NASCO Group of Company, Jos (1996-1998). Principal partner, Audit and Tax,  Jonah Arimuna and co chartered Accountants; Nexier Capital Ltd, (2020 –2022) Sector Specialist, Impact Evaluation of CBN, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Fund (MSMEDF) and Real Sector Re- financing and Re-structuring Fund (RRF). He previously thought accounting courses at Imo State University, Kano Study Centre, Institute of Development Administration of Nigeria (University of Ibadan DLC Moderated program) and University of Jos. He has published several peer reviewed article in international and local journals. His is the author of the book titled Entrepreneurship and New Venture Management.
