PGD Information Technology - FAQs

The criteria for admission into the PGD in Information Technology Programme are as follows:

  • Five credit passes including English, Mathematics, and two other relevant science subjects at the “O” Level.
  • Candidates who wish to enroll in the MSc IT but do not meet the requirements can be given admission to the PGD program to prepare them for the MSc.
  • Candidates with a university degree in third class or HND may be considered for admission into the PGD programme.
  • Along with these conditions, the candidate must also satisfy the general conditions laid down by the University for Postgraduate Admission.

Method of Application:

The following documents are required for admission into the M.Sc. programme:

  • Submission of a completed Application Form, together with relevant certificates
  • Submission of original transcripts of all academic work completed at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Submission of three letters of recommendation. The three letters of recommendation should come from persons in the field of the applicant’s academic major or area of concentration. These should preferably come from professors/lecturers sufficiently acquainted with the student to comment on the student’s potential to complete the M.Sc. programme.
