Biography

Dr. Gani Joses Yoroms is a Professor of Political Science and Strategic Studies. He is a PG lecturer in Conflict and Strategic Studies (M.Sc.) and Global Security (PhD) in the Department of Political Science and International Relations. He is a tenured Professor at the Centre for Strategic Research and Studies of the National Defence College Nigeria.
Professor Yoroms research interests include Conflict Defence and Security Studies, Energy Security and Development, Security and Rule of Law. Professor Yoroms also has an advanced Certification in Defence Management, University of Johannesburg and UK Defence Academy and Cranfield University, UK. Professor Yoroms was a SSRC-MacArthur Fellow (1994) at the prestigious Watson Institute of International Studies, Brown University, USA. He was a Consultant with BOOZ Allen Hamilton/ USAFRICOM, USA on the Nigerian Military; and CRISE Project at Oxford University on Inequality and Cultural Identity in Nigeria.
