Biography

Prof. Jide Oladipo is a Professor of Economics and received B.Sc. (First class) and M.Sc. (Distinction) degrees in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Nigeria. He also earned MPhil and Ph.D degrees from the University of Cambridge and the University of Birmingham in U.K, respectively.
He has taught in various universities across three continents—Africa, Europe, and North America. Thus, he has taught and mentored students from diverse cultures, religions, and socio-economic backgrounds.
He worked and produced technical reports on Development Finance, Islamic Banking, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and other related projects for the World Bank Institute, Washington, D.C. and the United Nations. He is also a member of the Technical Working Group (TWG) for VISION 2050 in Nigeria.
He has published many articles in reputable journals and conferences. In addition, he is the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of
Economics and Finance, published by the Canadian Center for Science and Education, and continue to serve as Associate Editor of many reputable journals.
