Biography

Dr. Umar Abbas Ibrahim is a Senior Lecturer in Finance in the Department of Business Administration. He is the Academic Advisor of Ph.D and MPhil programs and chairman, Postgraduate Research Committee in the department.

Dr. Umar’s research interests include corporate capital structure, working capital management, corporate governance, international finance, and project management. He is also a member of Nile Journal for Business and Economics Editorial Board. Recently, Umar extended his research interest in areas of marketing and strategic management to foster links with corporate success. His academic interest and expertise has continued to improve the postgraduate students’ interest in research and academic writing.
