Biography

Dr. Tenigbade Yewande Odu (Ph.D., RSV) is a lecturer in the Department of Estate Management at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Nile University of Nigeria. She is a registered estate surveyor and valuer, having previously practiced with Ubosi Eleh + Co. before transitioning into academia. Before joining Nile University, Dr. Odu lectured in the Department of Estate Management at Yaba College of Technology and the University of Lagos.

Dr. Odu earned her Doctoral degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, where she specialized in environmental sustainability in the built environment. She is certified as a green building expert by the IFC EDGE and as an international DGNB consultant by the German Sustainable Building Council. Dr. Odu also co-hosted “The Built Environment,” a radio program on Yabatech Radio 89.3 FM.

Her research focuses on sustainability in the built environment, with her work being published in various academic journals. Dr. Odu’s contributions to the field continue to grow, reflecting her commitment to advancing environmental sustainability in the built environment.
