Biography

Temitayo Samson Ogedengbe (Ph.D.) is a Senior Lecturer in the department of Mechanical Engineering, Nile University of Nigeria. Previously, he lectured in the department of Mechanical Engineering of Elizade University, Nigeria. He earned his PhD with specialization in Industrial & Production Engineering from the prestigious University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He has served in several positions and in many committees both at departmental and faculty levels since joining Nile University of Nigeria.

He is an excellent tutor who constantly maintains a high score in student knowledge impartation using available tools and improvising where necessary. This hardwork culminated in his award as top performer/best academic staff in FY2023 university awards and recognition. Dr. Ogedengbe’s strong desire for research excellence has resulted in  a lot of journal articles indexed in popular indexing outlets such as google scholar, SCOPUS and web of science.

He has maintained a spot in the annual list of “Top 500 researchers in Nigeria” with recognition from the university in FY2024 for this feat. His research interests included areas such as advanced manufacturing, materials engineering, machining, nanotechnology and ergonomics.  Dr. Ogedengbe is a corporate member of both the council of regulation for engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Nigeria Institute of Mechanical Engineering (NIMechE) where he currently serves as Technical Secretary for the Abuja Chapter.
