Dr. Sharafadeen Adetunji Adeniji is a physicist and materials scientist with a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Physics from the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) in Abuja, Nigeria. His academic journey began in 2010 when he started as a high school Physics teacher in Abuja, where he inspired a passion for science in his students. During his doctoral studies, he also served as a teaching assistant at AUST, furthering his dedication to education.
In 2018, Dr. Adeniji joined the Department of Physics at Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja, where he has been actively involved in teaching, mentoring, and research. His research interests are centered on materials for clean and renewable energy, with a particular focus on developing efficient, low-cost, and environmentally friendly materials for light-emitting devices, solar cells, and supercapacitors. Dr. Adeniji’s work has been published in several Scopus-indexed journals, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field of materials science.
