Dr. Saleel Chembayil is a lecturer in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Nile University of Nigeria. He previously lectured at the Nelson Mandela Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution, Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi, India, where he earned his Ph.D. with a specialization in Peace and Conflict Studies. Dr. Chembayil has also worked as a consultant in the education sector, focusing on faculty development and quality enhancement projects.
His research interests are diverse, encompassing areas such as Neoliberalism, Development, Human Security, as well as broader themes in Peace and Conflict Studies and minority politics in democracies. Dr. Chembayil’s peer-reviewed articles have been published in journals focused on development and security. He has also actively participated in various conferences and international seminars in the fields of Peace and Conflict Studies and International Relations.
