Biography

Dr Imran Jibril received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, Nigeria, in 2010. He worked as a Medical Officer at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe between 2011 and 2013. He obtained his M.Sc degree in Medical Microbiology and Parasitology from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, in 2017. He became a Consultant Medical Microbiologist from the West African College of Physicians (FWACP (Lab. Medicine)) in 2022. He is a lecturer, Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, Nile University of Nigeria.

His research interests include HIV/HBV co-infection, antimicrobial resistance, immunology etc
