Born in Lagos, Nigeria and descendant of kin from the West Indies, Sierra Leone and the Republic of Benin, Dr. Ayodele Morocco-Clarke is a Nigerian of mixed heritage. She is a multi-award winning Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria who specializes in Environmental and Energy Law and interned at ExxonMobil International Limited in London. Dr. Morocco-Clarke has numerous years experience practicing commercial and energy law at some of the top law firms in Nigeria and lectured at the Lagos State University.
