Biography

Dr. Awe Emmanuel O. is a Lecturer and Economist currently serving at Nile University of Nigeria. He has an extensive background in academia, having previously lectured at the University of Abuja, University of Calabar, Federal University Lokoja, and Kogi State University. Dr. Awe also held the position of Research Manager at Kastmide Consultant and served as a Research Assistant to the Chairman of the House Committee on Finance at the Nigerian House of Representatives.

Dr. Awe earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from the University of Abuja, Nigeria. He is an active member of the Nigerian Economics Society and the Nigerian Institute of Management. Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous statistical surveys and projects across various sectors, including finance, agriculture, environment, and oil. He has also served as a consultant for prominent international organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), World Bank, European Union (EU), and the Revenue Mobilization and Fiscal Commission (RMFC).

Notably, Dr. Awe was part of the team that developed strategies to enhance the revenue generation capacity of the three tiers of government in Nigeria for the RMFC. His work reflects a strong commitment to economic research and policy development.
