Nile University welcomes fresh students at its 15th matriculation ceremony

Nile University of Nigeria, in a spectacular show of custom, welcomed over 3,000 students across eight faculties at its 15th Matriculation Ceremony held on April 23, 2024.

During the event, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dilli Dogo FNAMed, spoke to an audience of parents and students about the recent noteworthy accomplishments of Nile University, including the STEM Lab building to encourage technological innovation, a Student Center to improve the provision of student support services like guidance, counseling, and employability, and new dorms to increase on-campus housing options, among others.

The Vice-Chancellor also mentioned the accreditation of Nile University’s academic programs, emphasizing the university’s commitment to providing world-class academic experience. He highlighted the university’s high-profile collaborations with reputable international and Nigerian public and private sector organizations, such as the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA), aimed to improve student employability and global competitiveness. He concluded by encouraging matriculants to utilize the limitless opportunities available at Nile University while avoiding vices that could jeopardize their stay.

The 15th Matriculation Ceremony was a success, as enthusiastic matriculants swore an oath of commitment to the university’s core values, officially becoming Nile University students.
