Nile University Signs MoU with Nigerian Economic Society

Nile University of Nigeria signed an MoU with Nigerian Economic Society (NES) on August 18th. The Nile University officials present at the MoU signing ceremony included Prof. Osman Nuri Aras (Vice-Chancellor), Prof. Abdurrahman Isik (Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics), Prof. Ebele Amali (Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies), Assoc. Prof. Gylych Jelilov (Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences), Mr. David Olowola (Deputy Registrar), to name a few.

The event commenced with a brief introduction of Nile University by the Vice-Chancellor, which included insight into the University’s offerings, including its programs, scholarships, student support services like counselling designed to help students cultivate good character and values, etc., its membership of the Honoris United Universities network, as well as its partnerships with reputable public and private organizations, amongst others.

Following the Vice-Chancellor’s presentation, Prof. Sarah Anyanwu (President, NES) commended Nile University for its efforts in instilling the values necessary to promote responsible citizenship in its students. She also expressed her utmost delight about the MoU and the positive impact it promises for NES and Nile University.

Responding to the NES President, Prof. Aras, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stressing its importance in equipping the next generation of leaders with the tools needed to provide solutions to Nigeria’s socio-economic problems. The event concluded with the official signing of the MoU by Prof. Aras and Prof. Anyanwu.
