Nile University’s Student Wins the 2019 eNigeria Most Proficient NITDA Scholar Award

Mr. Apollos Chinonso Ezeogu, a PhD student (Computer Science) at Nile University of Nigeria, won the 2019 eNigeria Most Proficient NITDA Scholar Award on November 29. The award was presented to Mr. Ezeogu in recognition of his accomplishments as a NITDA scholar. Mr. Ezeogu received the award at the two-day eNigeria conference that was held at the International Conference Center, Abuja, on November 28 and 29.

eNigeria is an annual information technology conference organized by NITDA in collaboration with relevant private, public, and non-governmental stakeholders. The aim of the event is to bring together these key actors in Nigeria’s IT sector to discuss practical ways of developing this industry. This year’s event, themed “Creating a Dynamic Digital Economy for Sustainable Growth of the Digital Economy,” was graced by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, and Mr. Mansur Liman (DG, The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria), among other dignitaries.
