Nile University of Nigeria’s three representatives at the ongoing Dala Hard Court Tennis Championship in Kano began their respective campaigns in impressive fashion by recording a combined six wins from their first six games. John Dickson (Civil Engineering Department) won his first three matches 6-2/6-2, 6-1/6-2, and 6-2/6-0 respectively. Joel Ajang Sylvester (Accounting Department) won his first two matches 6-3/6-4 and 6-0/6-2 respectively. Bamidele Omolayo, fresh from her second-place finish at the recently concluded ITF World Junior Tennis Circuit Under-18 tournament, won her sole match 6-0/6-0.
