Nile University of Nigeria Holds 8th Convocation Ceremony

Nile University of Nigeria held its 8th Convocation ceremony on March 6, 2021. Delivering one of the keynote speeches in the virtual ceremony was Nile University’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Osman Nuri Aras, who congratulated the graduating class for achieving the significant milestone that is the attainment of a Bachelor’s degree. According to him, successfully overcoming the many hurdles in the University to graduate successfully is no mean feat—he, therefore, urged all the graduands to be proud of themselves. Prof. Aras further stressed his confidence that the time spent by the graduating students at Nile University has positioned them for success in the real world and to contribute to the technological and economic development of the nation and internationally. 

The event witnessed the graduation of 537 Undergraduate and Postgraduate students across five faculties (Natural & Applied Sciences, Engineering, Law, Management Sciences, Arts & Social Sciences). The three best graduating students were Gloria Bozhena Ezuma (Business Administration, 5.0 CGPA), Shiloba John Pishikeni (Civil Engineering, 4.99 CGPA) and Ozioma Beulah Soludo (Public and International Law, 4.96 CGPA).
