Nile University Holds Seminar on Quality Assurance

As the demand for quality education increases, there is also a growing demand for quality assurance (QA) for international universities. Hence, ensuring that the quality of education programs meets local and international standards simultaneously has become a great challenge in many higher institutions of learning across the globe.

In a bid to address this emerging need and to ensure that QA becomes the driver for institutions to achieve excellence in higher education, a 5-day seminar was held by the Directory of Quality Assurance of Nile University of Nigeria from March 9 to 15, 2020. The program was headed by Prof Ebele Amali and facilitated by the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Is-haq Oloyede. The seminar was conducted by a world-acclaimed Quality Assurance expert, and Chairman of the Nigerian Universities Quality Assurance Network, Professor Sooleman Adayi, the Director of Quality Assurances, Federal University, Minna, and his assistant, Dr. Taiwo Imran.

Following the seminar, the Vice-Chancellor of Nile University, Prof. Osman Nuri Aras, hosted the program’s organizing team in his office.
