The Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is for students wishing to upgrade their Engineering knowledge in EEE.

It provides a pathway for students without strong background in EEE at the undergraduate level, and for Bachelor of Engineering Technology graduates who wish to progress to Master of Engineering studies.

PGD Electrical and Electronics Engineering - FAQs

The following may qualify for admission into the PGD program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering:

  1. University Matriculation of 5 credit passes including English, Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry at O-Level; and
  2. Approved Bachelor’s Degrees with at least 3rd class division in a relevant engineering or Science discipline; or;
  3. Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) with at least upper credit;
  4. Holders of the HND at lower credit with a minimum of five (5) years post-qualification relevant experience may also be considered.

We aim to develop your knowledge, understanding, analysis and design abilities principally through lectures and tutorials. You’ll be supported in developing your practical and design skills through laboratory work involving problem solving assignments, practical exercises and mini projects.

Graduates can work in a variety of roles such as lead electrical engineer, senior electronic engineer, senior metrology engineer, applications design engineer and control, electrical and instrumentation graduate design engineer in organisations including.
