Computer Engineering - FAQs

Entry requirements for this course are normally:

* Must have at least 5 O’level credits, including English, in no more than 2 sittings.

  • DIRECT ENTRY: Available
  • UTME SUBJECTS: Literature in English and any two Arts or Social Science subjects
  • O’LEVEL SUBJECTS: Literature in English and any three Arts or Social Science subjects

Students will be taught through lectures, seminars and tutorials. They will be required to prepare and make presentations, take-home tests and assignments. There will also be written and oral feedbacks from the Professors.

Graduates of computer engineering can work in all segments of the broad and thriving computer industry as software engineers, programmers, computer system architects, microprocessor/hardware designers, among many other specialties. This includes careers in computer engineering through employment in industry, government or private practices, as well as in related engineering, science or pr professional disciplines such as electrical engineering, computer science, bioengineering, business, law, or medicine.
