The Nigerian Institute of Civil Engineers (NICE), Nile University of Nigeria chapter, held an event for the newly admitted 100 level students in the department.
The theme of the program was "Civil Engineering as a Career." The event was designed to educate the students on the various branches of Civil Engineering and the different career opportunities available to graduates of this field. It also served as an official welcome ceremony for the new students admitted to the department. The program’s speakers included Engr. Dr. Ezekiel Coker. FNSE. FNICE., Assoc. Prof. Abdulhameed Mambo. MNSE, MNICE. (HOD, Civil Engineering Department), and a host of 400 and 500 level students in the department.
The event concluded with a presentation of certificates of service to the speakers by staff adviser, NICE NUN, Dr. Onyebuchi Mogbo. MNSE, MNICE.
