A delegation from Nile University recently paid a courtesy visit to Investment and Securities Tribunal (IST). IST is a dedicated fast-track civil court established for the resolution of disputes in the Nigerian Capital market. The Tribunal is the first of its kind in Africa. The visit was aimed at exploring opportunities for collaboration between both organizations within the areas of Economics and Criminology, specifically in investment, securities, capital markets and criminology studies.
The Nile University team that went on the visit comprised Prof. Gylych Jelilov (Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences), Dr. Nargiza Alymkulova (HoD, Economics Department), Dr. Anadi Ngozi (HoD, Criminology Studies Department), Prof Ganiyat Adeshina-Uthman (Vice Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences), Prof Ahmet Arabaci (HoD, Political Science and International Relations Department), and Dr. Ahmed Adamu (Lecturer, Economics Department).
