Nile Delegation Pays Courtesy Visit to NTA’s Director General

A six-person delegation from Nile University of Nigeria paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Alhaji Yakubu Ibn Mohammed, on November 7. The Nile delegation comprised Prof. Osman Nuri Aras (Vice-Chancellor), Prof. Kemal Ozden (Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies), Assoc. Prof. Gylich Jelilov (Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences), Assoc. Prof. Kenan Kapukaya (Director, Public Relations), Miss Ijeoma Ezima (Marketing/Public Relations Officer), and Christian Aluoghor (Photographer).

The aim of the visit was to acquaint the DG with Nile University’s Postgraduate programs, attractive discounts (given to individuals coming in groups from organizations), and other offerings, while exploring potential areas of collaboration between Nile University and NTA.

Delivering his address during the meeting with the DG, Prof. Aras stated that the goal of Nile University is to contribute to the development of Nigeria’s human capital through high quality education. To achieve this, he continued, the University boasts several highly trained Nigerian and expatriate lecturers to deliver high quality instruction to students at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, ultra-modern facilities, and collaborations with various public and private organizations and institutions (in a bid to provide students a more practical education or bridge the gap between town and gown) and universities.

Following the VC’s presentation, Alhaji Mohammed thanked the Nile team for their proposal and promised to discuss it with the relevant parties.
